Todd R. Townsend, a Sailor, Writer and Wanderer, is an award winning author whose work has appeared in national publications such as Living Aboard, and Good Old Boat Magazines. Mr. Townsend spends most his free time to refitting a 1975 Cape Dory 28 Sailboat. He often writes about his boat and his work on her. He and the boat will wander to warmer waters when she is ready, writing about their adventures as they go.
After driving nearly 400,000 miles as an Over The Road Truck Driver, Mr. Townsend has often written about his trials, travails and travels on the road. Most of his published work has been creative nonfiction, but he is writing fiction and poetry as well. His background also includes technical writing and process documentation.
